Both my children are immensely fond of their nanny, a wonderful cook who is equally adept at traditional favourites and fusion food. My daughter particularly loves her Javanese non-spicy chicken stew, braised in coconut milk with candlenuts, kaffir lime leaves, turmeric and lemongrass. This SouperChef Special draws inspiration from her traditional recipe, with tempeh and eggplant. Such nostalgic memories!
