I love stopping by the convenience stores in New Zealand! The butter masala chicken pie was popular, perhaps a testament to their Indian migrant community. Here’s my “soupified” memory of NZ’s melting pot of cultures—a creamy, tomato curry with chickpeas, sweet potatoes, warming spices and succulent Quorn fillets. Your non-spicy & meat-free treat!
